About Karen Shaw - I have been a qualified make-up artist for the past twenty two years and a beauty therapist for the past eighteen. In make-up my services include bridal make-up, fashion shoots, catwalk and T.V. In beauty therapy I specialize in facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures, podology, ayurvedic- Swedish body massage, Indian head massage, slimming treatments, semi-permentant eyelashes, Laser hair removal and Semi-permanent make-up. During 2005 I opened up my own beauty clinic “Beauty Point” due to the clients request and which is running smoothly till today with a good line of regular and new clientele. I have also undergone training in Holistic Massage (ITEC Diploma) and have graduated in July 2005. In June 2007 I graduated in Diet & Nutrition which helped me expand my client database for clients needing to loose weight.
My experience in the field of beauty therapy and make-up spans a period of seventeen years. My first job in the family pharmacy enabled me to enter this incredible field. By the age of seventeen I was managing the skincare and make-up section of the pharmacy as well as undergoing training in make-up application.
