- Saturday classes start from 10am till 2:30pm
- Kindly be there at least 15 minutes before class
- Groups of no more than 12 people in each class
- Kindly wear closed toe shoes (Crocs are also fine)

About Sean Gravina's Cooking Experience

What we’re aiming for:

 

Our goal is to create a truly unique environment in which people could learn how to cook. Through our research we’ve noticed how cooking lessons are being conducted and wanted to move away from it all. First off, The Fino FoodLab® was created and designed so people would have a hands on experience. Each student has their own work station equipped with everything you’ll be needing including: an induction hob, oven, pots pans, utensils, ingredients and everything in between. We pride ourselves in quality and could find it everywhere you look, not only using the best ingredients but also in all the equipment at the Fino FoodLab.

As you might agree, it takes some doing to beat genuine homemade food and that’s was our inspiration behind this amazing experience. We’d like to empower you with confidence in your home-cooked meals, showing you have the right stuff when having family and friends over. The hands-on experience reinforces what you’ve learnt as nothing beats having to cook something for yourself!

 

About the Chef:

 

A young, dynamic, creative chef and doubtfully talented, Sean Gravina has a simple take on food being exciting yet unpretentious. An ITS graduate, Sean started his career cooking for staff at The Hilton, Malta. When a friend approached him to run the kitchen at local restaurant Chez Philippe, he did so creating a menu which was fresh and tantalising, gaining a loyal clientele. Sean's passion for food drove him to look outside his (comfort zone and) shores to keep exploring his culinary knowledge. Whilst studying at number 1 school Cordon Bleu, he specialised in French Cuisine at Clos Maggiore in Covent Garden. Following his graduation he joined Gordon Ramsey's Michelin Star restaurant Maze, where he began to enjoy the uninhibited desire to push boundaries with food. 

Prior to the return to his home territory he worked at CUTS restaurant, part of the world renowned Dorchester Collection run by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puk. He has recently produced his own spot on lifestyle program Chill on Net TV. He will be joining Tv veteran Moira Delia in their upcoming prime time show Gourmet Today. Also Sean entered Master Chef Professionals in 2014 and left the Competition as a Quarter Finalist.
