We also encourage our clients to go green and here are some tips on how to do so: We all love a good lipstick, but sometimes the brands we use can be filled with loads of unfriendly chemicals for our skin and the planet. Organic lipstick reduces the amount of toxic dyes and preservatives that pollute the environment during manufacturing and disposal.
Keep lips moisturized with lip balm made from shea butter, beeswax and almond oil.
We hate to admit it, but sometimes recycling isn't easy during a hectic day. Try using a bar soap instead of a liquid — usually it'll be individually wrapped and the packaging can be easily trashed. When you have the remnants of a bar of soap, use warm water to mould it together with a larger piece.
If you have a deodorant that can double as a perfume, you'll be using less bottles and going just a bit more green!
Going green when it comes to nail polish doesn’t necessarily mean opting for a product that will chip, peel, or otherwise make its way off your fingers and toes. There are lots of water-based formula available on the market which will give you the desired final result.
