TONI&GUY hairdressers are qualified beyond industry standard; having completed their NVQ training, our hairdressers complete a further year's training specialising in either cut or colour and learning TONI&GUY's unique methods and techniques before completing a final intensive six weeks TONI&GUY Diploma, at one of our international Academies.
TONI&GUY Malta opened its first salon on 21st June 1994 and Gordon Mayo was appointed as the local Master franchisor. Toni&Guy won the Outstanding Achievement Award during the 2008 Malta National Fashion Awards. TONI&GUY is now a renowned brand in the hairdressing industry in Malta thanks to their involvement in various magazines, TV shows, charities, as well as hair and fashion shows.
Since its foundation in 1994 by the franchise manager Gordon Mayo , TONI&GUY has flourished to five other renowned salons scattered around Malta, namely in: Gzira, Paceville, Hilton, Plaza, and Gozo. TONI&GUY was significantly the first salon to win the outstanding Achievement Award during the 2008 Malta National Fashion Awards.

Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, the nineteen-year-old daughter of founder and CEO Toni Mascolo, is the youngest person ever to win the 'Newcomer of the Year' at the British Hairdressing Awards. She is now the Global Creative Director and her husband, James Tarbuck, is the Global Brand Director for the company.
In 2007, Sacha was nominated for the HAIR Magazine Awards as 'Hairdresser of the Year', The UK's 'Most Wanted' Look of The Year, as well as in Fashion Focused programme for the Image of the Year award from the Fellowship of British Hairdressers.
