I can choose 'Gift it as a gift' option which I did and still had to print a voucher with prices displayed on it which beats the whole point it I'm giving it as a gift :(

The photos on the deal were very misleading as the photo of the hotel's pool implied that the access to the lido included access to such pool. I was told there that it was not the case and the beach of the hotel is very small and the quality of the deckchairs horrible. The price of the food included in the deal was less than 10 euros in more cases. The price of the deal of 20 euros does not reflect any sort of the discount in my opinion as I doubt renting a chair on that beach costs 30 euros (you adverted as if the real value was 40 euros discounted to 20, which cannot be right, even if you include a small bottle of water and a small glass of house wine). In a nutshell this is not a real discount.

Basically the deal is great however we had a bad experience. Our morning went well, we swam and sunbathed. The bad part came when we went to have lunch. We went at 12:45 intending to have a quick lunch, however we ordered and the first course came at 1:15. We ate and waited and waited for our second. At 2pm we complained to a waiter who told his colleague and they came to look. The second course came after 3pm, we were so disappointed because we missed our second swim that we went promptly home. No one except the waiter go brought our second apologised. The management was non existent.

This was the same price as the actual price...therefore no deal was actually given...sent an email about this to you but didn't even get a reply.

The beach is not great full of rocks . No one to greet us with a bottle of water. The choice for lunch was good but quality of food was poor.the waiters were all foreign. We ordered s salad without mayonnaise but the waiter insisted we hadn't mentioned mayonnaise!

The beach is not crowded so that's great. However the facilities are slightly lacking there is no beach attendant and the umbrellas are tiny. The food could be better quality as well.

The resort does not accept the electronic voucher. It must be printed on paper.

Good value for money

The lunch was pleasant and nice; beach service I mean bar, umbrellas and sundeck so and so: the guy was not very pleasant and BTW at 6 pm it's too early to send people away from toilets too... won't go again

Swimming area of lido is too shallow to swim comfortably.

The photo in the deal doesn't illustrate the fact that half your view from the beach is taken up by the Cirkewwa ferry terminal!

The guy at the beach is very friendly and nice. Also, At the restaurant all waiters are kind. Food is ok.

Lunch was poor

Always enjoy staying at Paradise Bay, rooms are always clean, food is lovely with a big selection and staff are helpful and friendly. The pool is the best thing however !

Ever thing wasexcellent

The afternoon tea was not organised at all. When we asked what options were available to us, the waiter did not know. Then they simply offered us tea or coffee. There were no cakes, sweets or biscuits to go along with it unless you count one small plate with pieces of cake on the bar counter that was half-hidden. We simply drank our tea and coffee and walked out very disappointed.

Only drawback with Hotel was the bad reception of Italian & Local TV channels. I told reception about it on first day - they never did anything about it.

The emphasis made by booking office and the reception that check out time is 11.00 a.m. is out of place. They should be more diplomatic in conveying this hotel rule which after all is common in all hotels.

we will book the deal again, if it is offered later in the year.

We had the option of a late check out, but at 11.00 the reception called in our room to come down and leave.

Hotel rooms needs a bit of modernising and could be cleaner. The indoor pool was being renovated, so there were workmen all the time, thus noisy. Otherwise, the food was really great and the staff all nice and helpful.

Lovely room with view of Blue Lagoon and castle. Abundant food-will opt for half board next time. Enjoyable experience.

I would like to say that we really enjoyed ourselves very much it was my partner's birthday , food was excellent and a lot to choose from, service too .Looking forward to visit again .

The value for money was excellent. I have been previously to this hotel and what disappointed me previously occurred again. The service at this hotel is certainly not one of a 4 star. You feel that they are doing you a favour - as if you're there for free. Had it not been for the good deal offered by you I would not have visited as I normally choose hotels with a good service. However this deal was a good value for money and since I was there before I knew what to expect. It's a pity cos the hotel has all the potential to be a great one !!!

it was very good value for money

The room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with a beautiful view. Rooms were cleaned daily. One can tell that both the soft furnishings and the en suite bathroom have been recently refurbished. True the A/C did not work well, but the ceiling fan made up for that. Both the buffet breakfast and dinner were lovely, tasty, vast choice and different variety everyday. All the hotel staff are very helpful and have a ready smile. One suggestion I felt I had to make was that the uppermost pool would be reserved for the hotel residents who want to relax in a quiet ambience, unfortunately the day guests with children can be very noisy. Well worth it, especially with the offer on at the moment.

A good deal. We repeated the deal twice in less than a month. Hotel is ideally situated with easy access to Gozo. Spacious room . Update gym.

The gym was a disgrace!

Very affordable and good food.

This deal was really good bang-to-the-buck and really enjoyed this stay. However since there was listed Wifi access in the deal's details, I was expecting free Wifi in the hotel rooms and not just in the lobby. I think this could be more clear next time.

Also the beds were single beds and we had to ask reception if we can change to double beds. However this was not possible but they did make some adjustment to make it more comfortable for us.

Whilst the deal itself was very good value for money, the hotel facilities were far below expectations, including the room, the gym, the massage room (right next to the gym, so you hear people working out and machines humming whilst trying to relax). Also, deal said wifi included, but at the hotel we were told this was in the lobby only, which I found somewhat misleading. I would still happily go on a weekend break on a deal today deal, but I doubt I'll ever stay at Paradise Bay Hotel, nor would I recommend it to anyone, even though the food and mattresses were good.

It was real value for money, with good meals, good service,a nice experience and a welcome break. George and Angela Gauci, Gozo.
