Etymology of the word “NAAR”
“Nar” means fire in Maltese. The double “A” was added to evoke the look of flames, and of course, to give it a twist.
Since the premises is situated on the water’s edge and since there is also a lovely swimming pool, we introduced the element of fire in the form of fire pits and outdoor heaters which are utilised during Winter. Who knew fire and water actually mix so well?
NAAR RestoBar – The Concept
Our aim is to offer an enjoyable experience to our patrons. Apart from the opportunity to swim in the fresh water pool or the sea while using the Club’s facilities – one may snack or dine or lounge at the various spots.
We enjoy a wet area whereby one may eat just after enjoying a lovely dip.
Alternatively, one may dine on the upper terrace while enjoying the picturesque bay. We offer fine dining without all the formalities.
Following which, one may end the night be relaxing on the comfortable set-up in the waterfront Lounge while sipping a cocktail.
