Galea Brown
Born in Paris, to father; a Polish Holocaust survivor and a mother: Cameroonian princess. Gaela is a well noted Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Musician and Choreographer. From an early age, Growing up with 3 siblings; she quickly learned that nothing was owed to her and that hard work was the only way to achieve success. At the tender age of 6 years old, Gaela began to practice the piano taking after her beloved older sisters. Teaching herself to play piano, she developed the ability to play by ear and quickly pick up almost anything she listened to exactly as it is originally composed.
At the age of 11, Gaela craved a new challenge and decided she wanted to play the violin. After pressuring her father about her new found passion, he decided to get her a violin and quickly registered her at the Russian Conservatory Alexander Scriabin to hone her violin skills. With musical influences ranging from various forms of African music to Classical music to Yiddish music and soul, Gaela was taken by storm when she first heard Hip-Hop.
Listening to Hip-Hop music and observing break-dancers in the streets of Paris, Gaela became intrigued with the beautiful culture of Hip-Hop, and quickly picked up many forms of Hip-Hop dance. Already having some experience in different styles of African dance, Samba, and Jazz, Gaela grasped the talent of choreography at a young age. Continuing to follow her dreams, she ventured off to New York along and started some studio sessions with Producer Craig Mitchell and Black Violin's DJ well none in America after winning The Appolo contest 2005 with his crew and for being Alicia Keys Violinist in her Hit Karma.
She recently signed with CanUFeelitRecords and Publishing in Los Angeles owned by the well noted Producer Patrick Smadja and is working on her first album with talented worldwide musicians as Kamil Rustam, Amy keys, Gabriel Mcnair,or Beyonce and Lenny Kravitz team. Gaela has had the honor to be part of the Grammy awards 2013, Trace Tv awards Paris and is working closely with the CO movie soundtrack department jury of the Grammy Awards; by Jonathan Mchuge. She is also working on her first EP, after releasing a remixed version of her first single in Europe in 2013 with Passi, one of the most influent rapper of France and 'Victoire de la musique' Winner.
She is currently working with her newly assembled team from around the world. Under contract and the close eye of manager David Franco and Fashion Music Management ©All Rights Reserved 2013; whose marketing has been noticed worldwide. Working closely and/or associated with Fashion Week Ecuador, Toronto, New York, Buffalo and Miami as well as countless music acts throughout the industry including The Geto Boys, Drake and more.
Under the watchful eye of new manager and executive and music producer Patrick Smadja she is assembling and preparing the release of her EP in which she plans to tour this upcoming summer 2014 in the United States and Canada.
This young Royal Survivor known as Gaela Brown is destined to walk the path of greatness.
