- PADI Open Water Course, with Dawn Diving.
PADI Open Water Diver qualification
Duration – approx. 3 days (does not need to be consecutive days)
- Preparation – Students need to be able to swim for 200 meters (any style on no time restrictions) and also float unaided for 10 minutes.
- Home Study – PADI eLearning. PAY DAWN DIVING DIRECTLY FOR THIS – HOME STUDY PRICE IS NOT INCLUDED IN DEALTODAY DISCOUNTS. The Home Study must be completede. It includes This is where you watch videos on each section, read and do some Knowledge Reviews and a final exam (multiple choice ) – takes approx. 14-16 hours in total.
What to expect –
- a fantastic welcome at Dawn Diving
- Checking your paperwork, medical questionnaire and going over any queries you have on the Home Study you have done.
- Get kitted up and go with your Instructor for your dives (5 confined water dives to practice your skills and 4 open water dives to enjoy the ocean – confined water just means that the teaching part is done in water that is very calm such as a pool or sheltered sea area. The open water is where you are away from the area you do your skills).
- Once completed you will receive your PADI Open Water certification directly from PADI via the APP You will then be qualified to dive anywhere in the world up to 18 metres with your dive buddy.
- You can then go on and do the Advanced Open Water Diver to take you on more underwater adventures up to 30 metres.
