Day by the pool at the Xemxija Bay Hotel

“Visited the hotel as a surprise for my 40th Birthday end of February. Upon arrival our room was decorated to celebrate the occasion and plenty of room in our suite/apartment with our own cooking facilities, separate dining space, private balcony overlooking the pool and the comfiest bed we've ever slept on. The hotel staff went above and beyond for our stay, although end of Feb they opened the pool due to having warmer weather so was able to fully experience the amenities. Didn't book breakfast but visited 1 morning and paid for the buffet. Plenty of choice for a breakfast buffet. The location itself is beautiful with bay views to one side and greenery to the other. Direct bus access, local convenience store, few cafes and restaurants and truck stop stalls within a minutes walk from the hotel. Visited a beautiful restaurant 7 minutes walk away called Apulia.. not to be missed! Most places we accessed by uber, Valletta approx £14 which is the most we paid to get to anywhere with other places coming in under approx £9 a journey. Such a fantastic stay here at the hotel and will definitely be returning. Thanks you”

“I recently stayed at Xemxija Bay Hotel. It was a basic hotel, but cheap and cheerful. The rooms were cleaned daily and so were the towels. The staff were amazing, especially Riath, who made sure everything was ok in my room. I thought my air con was broken and when I asked Riath about it, he immediately came to my room to check it- it wasn’t broken, I just couldn’t figure it out. The staff couldn’t have done anymore. The pool bar was again basic, but nice vibes. There’s not a lot in the area, but we found a nice, clean and cheap restaurant just down the street from the hotel. Taxis were also very cheap getting around. I’ll definitely be coming back again.”
