Morning Spa Brunch at AX The Victoria for two - with Afternoon Tea with free flow of Prosecco and water

“I've spent a wonderful week at the AX The Victoria Hotel. It's not the most modern of hotels I've stayed at, with the hallways and rooms looking rather dark, due to the sombre (brown) decor. Notwithstanding the dour décor, the hotel makes up with it's great amenities, friendly staff and choice of cuisine. With regards to the cuisine, there's a great choice at breakfast and there are a number of restaurants on site and shared with the sister Palace hotel, that offer a wide variety of worldy tastes, including cultural food nights, e.g. Malta night, for a set fee. We did the Maltese night and found the food varied, tasty and abundant. My only criticism of the hotel is there's no dress code enforced at the evening meal events. In my case at the Maltese food night, which took place in the adjoining Palace Hotel, there was a group of individuals on the table beside us wearing their football tops and shorts. For dinner, in a lovely setting, to see individuals walking around in football tops was very disappointing. I believe for these types of events smart/casual should be enforced by the management. That's my only criticism of a wonderful hotel. PS. The view from the rooftop pool across to Valletta is amazing and something I'll always treasure. Last minute update: I was very disappointed that the breakfast I had ordered for my family and I, for our early morning journey to the airport, was not ready for my departure, even though I'd given reception 2 days notice.”
