Il Carciofo Ristorante e Pizzeria is situated in the peaceful and wonderful village of Gharghur, in San Bartholomew Street opposite to the parish church. Il Carciofo opened on the 1st of November 2012 and offers a variety of mouth watering dishes including pizza, pasta, salads, grills including fine cuts of meats like beef, chicken and pork dishes, fresh fish and seafood and also delicious gateaux and other desserts. The restaurant also offers a wide variety of local and foreign wines and a wide selection of local and foreign beers aperitifs, spirits, liquors, traditional Maltese liquors and coffees.
The Restaurant is fully air conditioned, very comfortable, safe for children, very welcoming and has a capacity of 80 covers and can take up to 100 covers, so it make it suitable for private functions, coffee mornings, private lunches, product launching events, group parties, staff parties or any other special occasion and also we can set up any set menus that our customers wish.

Typical Maltese Fenkata
At Il Carciofo Ristorante we do also the Traditional Fenkati (Rabbit Nights) and consist in a 4 course meal menu for the price of 20.00 Euros only per person, the menu consists in a mixed maltese antipasto platter, then as a starter we serve spaghetti with rabbit sauce, as main course we serve the traditional fried rabbit with chips, salad and maltese bread. To complete your meal we offer a vast selection of gateaux to choose from.
